DESIGN and PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We exchange reference imagery with the client and hand sketch spatial and style concepts with pencil on paper, then digitally with pen on tablet.

We create photorealistic renderings early on, if it helps the client to visualise better.

Exchanging samples to get a feel for materials at this stage is also helpful.

There may be many revisions, which we don’t charge for, and eventually interpretations of the client’s styling and functional requirements take shape.

We finalise the renderings and draw these up as technical plans, elevations and sections.

Once they’re advanced, we finalise samples together and, from there, we can finally tackle costing and planning with the artisans and suppliers.

We offer the complete turnkey service, all the way through to the installation and final completion of the project.

Interior Architectural creativity and quality— specifically spatial planning, joinery, flooring and stonework—is our strength.

We have a fantastic track record of successfully designing and coordinating very complex layouts and installations, most of which have been completed with overseas install teams.

LONGEVITY

Regardless of how well an interior is conceived on paper, only a team of qualified artisans will guarantee that the design ages well after the ‘newly installed’ sheen starts to fade. Our Artisans are some of the best in Europe.

REALITY

An interior should still look well even when there is wear and tear. People want to be able to live in it and not worry too much about dents or scratches or ruffles… true quality will shine through all that, like an old Belstaff jacket.

NATURAL

A space that emphasises natural materials (woods, stones, metals, ceramics, glass, cottons, silks, wools, leathers) can feel stylish for many decades, even centuries. Synthetics, on the other hand, do not age well - neither in aesthetic or in condition.

MODIFIABLE

Electronics and temperature control systems that are integrated discreetly or out of sight, with adequate cabling, allow for future upgrades (when technologies inevitably change) that will be non-disruptive to the original aesthetic design.

ARTIFICIAL i

An individual’s interior should express their individuality and emotional connection to the environment.

Ai cannot replicate or empathise with the uniquely human experience of occupying, living in and owning interior spaces.

An Ai has never worked on a site with technical and personnel problems.
